Predictions about my book
I am reading "The Scorch Trials"and I am just beginning the book where we do learn a little bit more about the creators. I have barely started so i am only at the part where the cranks come into the dormitory and the leave and find dead bodies hanging from the ceiling. i predict that they got there because the cranks put them there. Cranks are diseased people whose there mind is eating away at itself. I also predict that someone will come and help them, after all they wont just leave a whole group of kids to die. If I were them i would try to escape and make a run for it. I predict not everyone will make it out of this one because it seemed pretty violent. What would you do if you were getting attacked by a bunch of mindless people?

What I plan to read next
I just finished the book, "The Maze Runner." I am planning to read , "The Scorch Trials." I plan to read this book next because it is the next book in the series and the first book led on to the next one very well which intrigued me to read the next one. Another reason i want to read the next book is to find out what the creators area going to do with the Gladers. I also wanted to read the book because they area making a movie. So just in case they go into the next story i wanted to know what happens to see if they made it just like the story(Hunger Games.) Or if they completely changed the whole story(Percy Jackson.) If you have read this series what book is the best in the series?

Book Review of The Maze Runner
I am
almost finished reading, "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner. The
genre of the book is science fiction, because it is placed in the future. This
book takes place in the future in a maze called, “The Glade." The book is
about a group of people in The Glade that are trying to escape the maze that
surrounds them. The main characters in the book are Minho, Gally, Ava Paige,
Teresa, Thomas, Ben, Alby, Chuck, Newt, and Fry Pan. Thomas is a runner.
He got this priviledge because, while exploring the Maze, Alby is stung
by a Griever. Minho attempts to get him back into the Glade before the walls seal
but they are not going to make it. Thomas sees them and races out into the Maze
to help, breaking a major rule. He finds himself trapped outside in the Maze
with them, and they become the first ones to ever last the night in the maze.
I rate this
book 4 out of 5 stars, because it has a lot of imagery and the author uses
great diction, but I feel like they should have given us more information about
the creators of the maze because we know very little about them. I also
feel like the author doesn't give the reader much insight to how they first
started obliging people into the Glade. You should read this book if you
like books about the future or if you like adventure books that have a lot of
suspense. What would you do if you were stuck in a maze with no way out?
